Maureen has risen above the challenges of being single being a woman in a largely male dominated culture. She has risen above heath challenges and above the challenges that a black lady faces in a fiercely competitive market. Maureen is a highly skilled academic who has founded Hope tree trust as a community project. Maureen’s passion is to see families whole and functional. Many schools in Ashford Kent has opened their doors to Hope trees holistic approach to the family. Hope tree includes helping children into a strong sense of identity by teaching and offering practical keys to resolve conflict issues. Once the children are on the road to recovery the parents/parent/ guardians/foster parents are given workable tools to equip and empower them to resolve any root issues and there by seeing positive changes on the ground. The demand for Maureen’s services is growing and the need arises now for funding and an increase of trained staff to partner in this community enrichment based project!
